Our client is a highly respected boutique residential real estate firm. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Real Estate Paralegal to join their firm. The ideal candidate will be polished and professional and have a minimum of three years of residential real estate experience within a legal capacity.Responsibilities:Assisting with the preparation and review of legal documents and correspondence, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and mortgage documents.Managing the closing process, including coordinating with clients, lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction.Drafting correspondence and communicating with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals involved in the transactionMaintaining and organizing client filesWork closely with the supervising lawyer; andOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Legal Assistant Diploma from a recognized institution;Minimum of three (3) years of experience handling residential real estate files from beginning to end;Experience using Law Done Deal (LDD) or a similar system;Experience using SPIN system;Experience with EsiLaw or similar accounting system;Experience handling private lending files is considered an asset;Have strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;Strong verbal and written communication skills;Have the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight timelines and deadlinesDedicated to providing quality service to clients;Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.Our Client Offers:A competitive salary and benefits package;A convenient location in Calgary that includes free parking;A collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.If you are interested in working at a firm where you are not just a number, then we want to see your Resume Please forward your resume in strict confidence to Shona Tischner at shona@urbanlegal.ca At Urban Legal Recruitment we guarantee discretion and confidentiality.We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
