About the PositionWe're seeking a creative and motivated Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you'll be responsible for forecasting sales figures, creating displays that draw customers' attention, and regularly analyzing data to see how our store is doing. This is a territory route within the area of Duncan, Nanaimo and Parksville. You'll perform a wide variety of tasks, from helping out on the sales floor to brainstorming shopper promotions. If you're someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to give our shoppers the best experience they can have, we hope to hear from youMerchandiser ResponsibilitiesPlan and implement merchandising strategies to boost salesCreate attractive product displays to draw customers' attentionAnalyze sales figures, trends, and customer data to determine which products to continue selling and which to replaceKeep track of product inventoryOrganize promotions, advertising campaigns, and markdowns to drive revenue and clear out excess productAct as a liaison between customer and companyMonitor competitors' pricing, marketing, and profit marginsRestock shelves as needed10-15 hours weekly Monday to FridayMerchandiser RequirementsPrevious experience in merchandising or retailExcellent spoken and written communication skillsStrong time management and organizational skillsAbility to analyze data and predict retail trendsKnowledge of industry-specific marketing strategiesA keen eye for detailAccess to a vehicle mandatoryAbout Brand Momentum:Brand Momentum is a nationally integrated leader in Sales, Marketing, and Retail, with headquarters in Toronto.
