On behalf of our client in the Automotive Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager
Senior Infrastructure Project Manager– Job Description Lead projects, project teams and vendors in Digital Workplace Modernization
Determine and define project scope and objectives
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule, work breakdown schedule
Coordinate project activities with project team members, business and vendors
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed
Produce and provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders that summarizes project overall health, adjustments, and progress
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Senior Infrastructure Project Manager– Mandatory Skills
Ability to think like a business executive and communicate effectively with key stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple concurrently running projects and project tasks
Manage vendor and their deliverable and coordinate project activities with different business areas
Ability to identify risks and protect the project ahead of time before they become issues
Ability to document and present project information to stakeholders, creating documentations, presentations and communications
Ability to devise detailed plan and identify activity dependencies and pre-requisites
Ability to identify and protect the critical path of the project
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Ability to manage project resources (Time, People, budget)
Ability to assist with unplanned tasks as needed
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills
Detailed oriented
Self-Motivated
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field
5+ years of experience in Project Management practices and methodology
Strong leadership, project and team-building skills, including the ability to lead teams and drive initiatives
Experience in managing projects that introduce digital workplace enhancements to business end-users
Experience in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Harvest, Teams
Senior Infrastructure Project Manager- Preferred Skills
Project Management Professional (PMP), CSM, ACP, ITIL certifications are assets Senior Infrastructure Project Manager- Assignment Start Date
