Avanciers is a premier IT Staffing/Consulting organization and we are currently recruiting for a long term contract role for one of our premier client in Canada for IT Security Engineer -Application Security Engineer. This is Remote role and client is actively hiring for this position. Role – IT Security Engineer -Application Security Engineer Location: Remote Security Clearance: Secret (Required) This is a mandatory requirement role for a senior technical consultant to lead secure, continuous delivery for cloud-based applications. The focus is on integrating security automation and compliance into all phases of the CI/CD pipeline. Mandatory Candidate Requirements Security Clearance: The candidate must possess an active Secret Security Clearance . Education: The candidate must possess either a Bachelor Degree or a College Diploma . Core Development & CI/CD: A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a Software Development setting, with proven expertise in implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines . Security Automation (DevSecOps): The candidate must have two (2) years of experience within the past five (5) years implementing automated security scanning and controls in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environment. Modern Security Application: The candidate must demonstrate experience applying modern security principles to custom software applications released in the past three (3) years.
