Start date ASAP Position Overview, Responsibilities & Deliverables Seeking two AI & IT Security Officers with strong hands-on AI Security & AI Governance Frameworks expertise. This is fully remote work, we are looking for mid-senior/intermediate level IT Security Engineers with strong expertise in AI Security, implementing AI Governance Frameworks, and hands-on with ISO42001, Gartner TRISM, etc. Contract-to-Hire positions, where the initial contract will be for a one-year term, with a high likelihood of permanent employment or multiple extensions as required after the initial contract period. As a Cyber Security Officer, you ensure that the organization’s information systems are protected. You perform vulnerability assessments, ongoing information risk assessments, and audits, and monitor the network to detect security irregularities. You oversee and measure information security practices across technologies and processes, and design robust security solutions. You also play a key role in artificial intelligence security governance, ensuring that AI systems are deployed securely, ethically, and in alignment with organizational policies. You assess AI-related risks, contribute to the development of AI governance frameworks, and collaborate with stakeholders to embed responsible AI practices into business operations. The Cyber Security Officer improves information security through awareness programs, policies, guidelines, and standards, as well as through the ongoing integration of security within business strategies. You recommend and implement network security measures, and continuously enhance the security infrastructure—including those supporting AI and machine learning environments. Qualifications and Key Skillset for this Role College diploma or certificate in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field, AND several years of experience in IT security or a related field Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification or equivalent certification, an asset.
