Summary:The main function of a Marketing Communications Specialist is to support the central regional team in going to market effectively on a monthly basis.Job Responsibilities:Support the Regional Marketing Manager with execution of several monthly priorities in a timely mannerWork with multiple stakeholders across GM Canada in gathering information and sharing with key partners across the organizationWork with agency partners in reviewing several assets monthly and ensuring creative excellenceLead the central region co-op program initiativesSupport dealerships with marketing questionsProvide support to District Managers regularly by reviewing data sets and finding actionable insightsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing0-5 years experienceA high level of interpersonal and written/oral communication skillsGeneral understanding of marketing opportunities with a strong passion for finding new and creative ways to be effective in the marketplaceStrong project management skills in order to handle multiple projects, often times simultaneously, and meet deadlinesAbility to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutionsAbility to create business solutions that increase competitive advantageEducation/Experience:High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.College degree or equivalent training preferred.8-10 years of experience required.
