They are responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of their team run smoothly and efficiently. The Operations Coordinator may also be tasked with developing new ways to streamline processes or increase efficiency. They commonly work in a team environment alongside other members of management who focus on different aspects of the business. This position reports to the Director, Product Management.Responsibilities:Planning and scheduling work activities, considering the availability of resources and deadlines.Monitoring activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Communicating issues to management regarding any problems with equipment or processes that may affect productivity.Analyzing data to identify problems or trends that may require corrective action.Conducting feasibility studies to determine whether new products or services are commercially viable.Coordinating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of business processes and projects.Maintaining records of operational activities such as sales, inventory levels, staffing levels, or shipping activityDeveloping and implementing strategies and tactics for resolving issues and achieving goals.Qualifications:3+ years’ of related work experience Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or related fieldExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team membersProven ability to work collaboratively across teams with use of leadership skillsExceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detailKnowledge and understanding of computer systemsApplication:We thank all applicants for their interest, but only selected candidates will be contacted for an interview.ASUS is compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and recognizes its obligation to provide accommodation in the job application process to persons with disabilities on request, up to the point of undue hardship.
