* Manage the day to day operations of the Produce departments, including: sales, merchandizing, customer service, inventory, ordering, employee management and scheduling
* Ensure that the Produce department is well-stocked, faced, organized, labelled and priced accurately
* Provide exceptional customer service through becoming well-versed in Coppa’s products and offers
* Maintain proper product rotation; ensuring quality standards are met
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to sanitization and safety policies
* Additional duties as required *Job Requirements*
* Previous experience managing a grocery store Produce department or working in a senior Clerk role is required
* Experience managing vendors, inventory, motivating staff and monitoring performance
* Health and safety orientated with a passion for cleanliness adhering to food, safety and sanitation standards
* Detail-orientated, organized and accurate
* Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities; positive attitude and able to motivate a team
* Physically fit with strong manual dexterity; comfortable standing, bending, walking and lifting for long periods of time
* Open availability; must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
