Working with one of the top financial clients this role calls for a Manager - Counterparty Credit Risk Analytics who will be responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations and system enhancements, effectively checking the operational processes are conducted timely and completely. This candidate will ensure the exposure metrics are generated timely and reasonably accurately for the downstream systems, e.g. Large Exposure, OSFI Top 100 reporting. The ideal candidate will lead the enhancement of capital methodologies for quantifying counterparty credit risk capital across all trading products so that the accuracy and reliability of capital and consequent business decisions reliant upon these data are enhanced.​​​​​​​Responsibilities:Manage the business processes to ensure proper controls are in place and executed appropriately.Review the tool implementation for, and perform, driver analysis for the capital changes based on production operationsInterpret the regulatory requirement and perform the Self-Assessment Process (SAP) to ensure full complianceProvide managerial leadership to the senior analysts in the teamCoordinate business operational processes with internal and external stakeholdersTranslate the business solutions into technical requirements, i.e. write business requirementsSupport the implementation process, and provide seamless communication with technology developersSupport the creation of the test plan including the test scenarios and sample data to support the testing scenariosIdentify issues and propose solutionsAnalyze the test result and communicate the result to senior managementDocument procedures, control processes, and policies relevant to internal controlsContinuously improve understanding of subject matter relating to Counterparty Credit Risk monitoring and Basel III RWA / capital calculations.Desired Skill Set:3+ years of related work experience in a financial institutionStrong knowledge of financial products, specifically possessing knowledge of derivatives (OTC) as well as SFTStrong Experience working with BASEL III and OSFI CAR GuidelineStrong Experience with CCR, CCR Capital (CEM, SA-CCR)Experience on BCARAdvanced knowledge of Excel, VBA, SQL, and Database ConceptsAdvanced Python programming experienceParticipation in mid-scale/large IT development projects, with hands-on experience in conducting testingStrong capability of writing business requirements and test plansStrong capability of creating mock-up data required to test the pre-specified casesNice To Have:Broad understanding of risk management methodologiesExperience in using work tracking systems (e.g. JIRA, HPQC)Experience in an Agile and fast-paced environmentBeachHead is an equal opportunity agency and employer.
