Omniply is looking for an epitaxy scientist to work with academic collaborators on growth optimization of III-V epitaxial layers for opto-electronic microdevices like LEDs towards fabricating the next generation displays. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in growing epitaxial layers of III-V semiconductors using MBE or MOCVD, and characterization of these layers.

Desired Skills: PhD or previous postdoc experience in epitaxial growth of GaAs, GaN, InP etc class of materials.

D in electrical engineering, physics, material science, chemistry, engineering physics or related STEM fields.
~Self-motivated and creative/innovation.
~ Data-driven with strong documentation and reporting skills.
~ Work with our academic collaborator to optimize growth conditions of epitaxial GaN and AlN based materials, including the deposition of device layers for opto-electronic devices
