Storage Solutions Architect

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Storage Solutions Architect (NetApp/CommVault) for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationThe successful candidate will be required to work on-site at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON, on a hybrid basis.Security RequirementMust be eligible for a Government of Canada Secret Level II Clearance.Key TasksParticipate in the architecture phase for the replacement of the primary data center storage solution (Netapp) and improvements to the backup solution (Commvault)Document and socialize the architecture changes for feedback and approvalsProvide technical expertise during the implementation phase of installing and configuring the new primary data center storage solution and Commvault changesParticipate in Operational support; patching, evergreening and incident managementOngoing activities and deliverable, as requiredKey QualificationsDemonstrated experience with scalable and highly available systems and service-oriented architectures including a minimum (5) years of experience supporting testing, operations, development and integration within Storage environmentsMinimum of five (5) years of experience with Storage equipment, specifically with NetApp and CommVault technologiesDemonstrated knowledge and experience in HyperscaleQualificationsDemonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Operations work, including the operational capabilities and typical challenges of IT OperationsDemonstrated ability to drive the development process (supporting continuous integration and deployment) from idea to implementationDemonstrated experience in working with Agile methodologyAssetsDemonstrated experience in working with ServiceNowDemonstrated experience in working with Azure Storage methodologiesDemonstrated experience in Cisco technologies (Cisco 9K, APIC etc.)About LeverageTek IT SolutionsThank you for taking the time to apply Since our company’s inception in March 2003, LeverageTek IT Solutions has worked resolutely to become one of the industry’s most recognized and trusted suppliers of technology staffing and business consulting services.
