A true west coast dining experience.*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:*· Responsible for creating and preparing confectionery and other pastry-based items in accordance with existing menu* Inspect the quality of ingredients and accurately measure them for specific recipes* Execute pastry orders as per spec and garnishing requirements* Ensure compliance with food handling safety regulation, health and safety workplace policies and procedures*SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:*· Minimum 2 years of pastry cook, baker, or similar* Completion of related pastry culinary program, is an asset* Food Safe certification, or wiling to train* Energetic with a passion for everything “sweet” and a positive outlook* Creative ability in design and decorating* Workable knowledge of kitchen equipment* Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions* Must be able to follow oral and written instructions* Excellent team player and camaraderie with others* Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight* Ability to stand for long periods of time* Organizational Skills and team player*GET A JOB TODAY* We welcome walk-ins – 1054 Alberni Street, Vancouver.
