The Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of an interdisciplinary team that provides medical care, recovery therapies and programs, and everyday care and support to clients in Detox and addictions residential treatment. The RN/LPN provides nursing care to clients, administers medications in accordance with organizational and pharmaceutical policies and procedures, and provides support to the Nursing Team and Physician as directed. Assists in establishing and maintaining procedures and policies to ensure proper residential treatment.
Provides on call nursing coverage as necessary
Facilitates communication with the physician regarding medical services
Conducts urinalysis collection with clients as deemed necessary.
Participates in any quality assurance program and seeks to continuously improve the program within fiscal and departmental parameters
