Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering consulting company who is looking for an Intermediate Water Resource Engineer to join their team in Calgary or Interior BC.Further responsibilities include:Collaborate with senior staff to identify and pursue project opportunities, ensuring the successful execution of diverse water resources projects.Manage projects by preparing proposals, developing work plans, handling invoicing, processing change orders, and tracking budgets.Engage with clients, regulators, and the public as required.Oversee the creation of technical documents, such as reports, technical specifications, and construction drawings, spanning from feasibility studies to detailed design, cost estimates, tendering, and construction services.Responsible for performing all aspects of engineering, design, and project management.Provide coordination with various departments and disciplines as required for project implementation, design, and inspection.Experience with hydraulic modelling software, familiarity with hydrologic analysis, knowledge of flood inundation and flood hazard mapping.Ideal Candidate Requirements:Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited universityRegistered as a P.Eng with APEGA and/ or EGBC7+ years experience as a Water Resource EngineerAvailable to travel as neededWhy This Firm?Competitive compensation packageExtended health benefitsFlexible WFH optionsCareer Growth OpportunitiesInterested?Interested candidates are encouraged to send their resume in confidence to info@torustalent.com.
