Job Title: Android DeveloperLocation: Dallas, Texas (Remote to relocation in 1 month)Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Android developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, while ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.Responsibilities:Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Work with external data sources and APIs.Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.Stay up-to-date with new trends, technologies, and best practices in the Android development community.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Proven experience in Android app development, with at least (X years) of experience.Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages.Strong understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with agile development methodologies.Knowledge of Android Jetpack components.Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.Published one or more applications on the Google Play Store.
