Payroll Analyst Burnaby, BC $28.84–$33.65ph (temporary for 2 months) About the Opportunity A large, multi-location, multi-province organization is seeking a Temp Payroll Analyst to support its payroll team during a short-term leave. Reporting to the Manager of Payroll and supported by two Team Leads, you’ll play a key role in processing payroll for a high-volume, nationwide workforce. This organization operates over 400 locations across Canada and its BC-based payroll team supports more than 8,000 employees. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly accurate, and has hands-on expertise with ADP Workforce Now What You’ll Be Doing Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly, salaried, and temporary staff Manage onboarding/offboarding within ADP Workforce Now Handle payroll adjustments, retro pay, and vacation payouts Reconcile timesheets, entitlements, and resolve time entry discrepancies Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries from employees and managers Collaborate with payroll team members on complex processing issues Perform account analysis and reconciliations (CPP/EI/Tax, benefits, vacation, taxable benefits) Reconcile government remittances and ensure legislative compliance Calculate garnishments, third-party payments, and statutory deductions Maintain payroll documentation and audit-ready records Stay up to date on payroll legislation and employment standards Support year-end: reconciliations, adjustments, and T4/ROE preparation Conduct monthly and quarterly payroll audits Prepare ad hoc payroll reports for HR, Finance, and Leadership Perform other payroll-related duties as assigned Qualifications 2–3 years of Canadian payroll experience Mandatory: ADP Workforce Now experience Experience processing payroll across multiple provinces Experience working in large, high-volume, multi-location organizations Bi-weekly and full-cycle payroll experience strongly preferred Open to part-time candidates, but full-time availability is preferred
