We are looking for an Underwriter to join our team in our Vancouver office
As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for managing a renewal portfolio and delivering exceptional response time.
Your day as an Underwriter
Evaluate risks and make underwriting decisions based on company guidelines, risk appetite, and pricing strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with broker and clients, providing exceptional customer service and delivering value-added solutions.
Collaborate with other underwriters, brokers, and internal teams to drive profitable growth and achieve assigned monthly sales goals.
Negotiate policy terms and conditions with brokers and clients, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Analyze data and trends to identify new business opportunities and develop marketing strategies to attract new business.
Solid technical knowledge of P&C insurance products and services, with an ability to apply this knowledge in a creative and innovative manner.
~ Good knowledge of the MS Office Suite;
~ Strong proficiency in data analysis and Excel. Experience in data visualization tools an asset.
