Position: Senior Motor Control EngineerRole: Focus on Customers, provide quality deliverables on time, within estimated effort with high qualityGoal orientation, team player, excellent leadership and communication skillsEstablish trust, responsiveness to change/adaptability; learn continuously and a strong business leadership qualityStakeholder management, strategist, problem solver etc.At least Masters in EE/ME/Mechatronics or equivalent, and greater than 5 years of experience in implementation of controls in traction motor or other inverter-fed drivesStrong fundamentals of AC electric motors and drive systems analysis, modeling and controlSolid background in linear systems analysis, stability, and controller designBasic proficiency with embedded firmware development in C/C++Model development and data analysis in Matlab/SimulinkStrong communication and preference for working in teamsIn-depth understanding of torque control techniques such as field oriented control and direct torque controlExperience with various PWM schemes such as space vector and discontinuous modulationFamiliarity with sensorless motor control algorithms and low speed control techniquesSystem-oriented understanding of thermal, vehicle-level torque control, high voltage DC-link integration, efficiency optimization, and firmware integration for electric drivesAre you interested in the role?
