Position SummaryJCB currently has an opening for a Sales Engineer to support our distribution partners the assigned territory. The Sales Engineer will serve as the primary liaison between JCB, the local dealer and the customer. Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key AccountabilitiesDevelop sales opportunities with an agreed upon list of targeted accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations preparing quotes.Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, availability, product uses and policies.Ability to sell the JCB product and local dealer strengths, engaging with key stakeholders from the boardroom to the workshop.Fulfill requests promptly and accurately, in line with company and local dealer procedures.Manage pipeline with CRM tools at disposal.Consult with clients after contract signings to resolve issues and provide ongoing support.Provide periodic updates to JCB Product Sales Manager and Dealer Sales Managers. Training and support will be given on JCB products.A highly organized individual, with experience in operational and collaborative CRM.Self-Improvement skills and set high standards for personal performance.Engineering or similar2 + years sales, product marketing, engineering and/or customer support experience in the industry or similarMust pass any drug screens, background checks and pre-employment tests as applicable Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
