We are currently looking for a *PASTRY COOK* to join our dynamic team at *COAST RESTAURANT. *CATCH. COOK. EAT. A true west coast dining experience.

*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:*

· Responsible for creating and preparing confectionery and other pastry-based items in accordance with existing menu
* Inspect the quality of ingredients and accurately measure them for specific recipes
* Execute pastry orders as per spec and garnishing requirements
* Ensure compliance with food handling safety regulation, health and safety workplace policies and procedures

*SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:*

· Minimum 2 years of pastry cook, baker, or similar
* Completion of related pastry culinary program, is an asset
* Food Safe certification, or wiling to train
* Energetic with a passion for everything “sweet” and a positive outlook
* Creative ability in design and decorating
* Workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
* Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
* Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
* Excellent team player and camaraderie with others
* Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Organizational Skills and team player
