Position:

Senior Data Engineer

Hybrid Role


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Work closely with the Enterprise Data Engineering team to design and construct data architectures, databases, and processing systems that support big data transformation and structuring.

2. Leverage deep understanding of SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and Python to develop large scale data structures and pipelines.

3. Create and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and implement data notebooks for data transformation and structuring.

4. Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

5. Collaborate with data scientists, data architects, project leaders to achieve project goals.

6. Ensure data solutions are compliant with privacy and security standards.


QUALIFICATIONS

1. 7-8 years of experience in the Data Warehouse, building ETL.

2. Extensive experience working with SQL and Python.

3. Proven experience with Azure cloud tools like ADF, Synapse Notebooks, Azure Databricks and Data Lake.

4. Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.

5. Strong project management and organizational skills.


PREFERRED SKILLS

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in data engineering and demonstrate proficiency in SQL, Python, and azure cloud tools like ADF, Synapse Analytics and Databricks.
