Sequoia Landscape Services is a reputable landscaping company based in North Vancouver that focuses on the installation and maintenance of outdoor spaces for high end residential homes and strata properties. We are looking for hard working, dedicated and creative people to join our team


Position Type: Full Time

Compensation: $29.00-$33.00/Hour + based on experience


Description of Duties:

  • Leading a small team to perform required tasks: gardening, pruning, planting, mowing, line trimming, hedging, blowing, spreading mulch, etc.
  • Providing progress reports including client concerns, problems, delays, etc.
  • Working as part of a team to complete jobs within the estimated time frames and budgets
  • Coordinating with Management to facilitate job actions, installations, deliveries and daily responsibilities
  • Maintaining a friendly and personable attitude
  • Communicating effectively with crews and clients, ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Adhering to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards
  • Remaining flexible with scheduling/site placements and willing to work in variable weather conditions
  • Attending meetings approved with Management


Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean driving record
  • High level of native plant ID and an in depth knowledge of seasonal garden requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a Lead Hand/Foreperson position with a comprehensive knowledge of assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Time Management skills - work well and efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with a variety of equipment, materials, and tools such as lawnmowers, pruners, hedgers, etc.
  • Reliable and Punctual


Assets:

  • Applicable certification (ie. Red Seal)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings/renderings, blueprints and specifications
