We are rapidly expanding our operations, with plans to open 50 new retail locations while significantly growing our B2C e-commerce presence. To support this growth, we are seeking a dynamic, hands-on, and results-driven COO who excels in retail operations, online B2C sales, logistics, and IT systems management.

This is a highly responsible and demanding role that requires a proven track record of scaling companies, driving operational excellence, and leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Do not apply if you do not have extensive experience in e-commerce, multi-location retail operations, and IT systems.

Position Overview:

The COO will oversee all aspects of AutoShack's operations, including retail expansion, supply chain logistics, e-commerce growth, IT infrastructure, and customer service. This onsite position requires a hands-on leader who can seamlessly navigate between high-level strategy and tactical execution, ensuring that all operational functions align with the company's rapid expansion plans.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Retail & E-Commerce Growth

  • Lead nationwide retail expansion, ensuring new store locations are operationally efficient and profitable.
  • Drive B2C e-commerce growth, optimizing sales channels including company website, Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Company Websites.
  • Develop omnichannel strategies to create a seamless shopping experience across retail and online platforms.

2. Supply Chain & Logistics Optimization

  • Oversee warehouse and distribution center operations to ensure fast, efficient fulfillment for both online and retail customers.
  • Optimize inventory management and procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve product availability.
  • Lead initiatives to improve distribution networks, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery performance.

3. IT & Systems Management

  • Ensure seamless integration and management of enterprise systems, including NetSuite ERP, Salesforce Commerce, and Manhattan Scale WMS.
  • Oversee cloud migration projects, automation efforts, and technology implementations that improve operational efficiency.
  • Work closely with the IT team to enhance data security, system performance, and reporting capabilities.

4. Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Develop and execute strategies to improve customer experience across retail locations, online sales, and customer support teams.
  • Optimize customer service operations, ensuring fast response times and high satisfaction rates.
  • Implement data-driven customer insights to improve engagement, retention, and brand loyalty.

5. Financial Oversight & Performance Metrics

  • Manage operational budgets, ensuring financial efficiency while supporting aggressive growth.
  • Establish KPI-driven performance tracking for all operational areas.
  • Use data analytics and reporting tools to drive decision-making and identify areas for optimization.

6. Leadership & Team Development

  • Directly oversee retail operations, supply chain, customer service, IT, and e-commerce teams.
  • Hire, train, and mentor high-performance teams to support business expansion.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications – Only Apply If You Meet These Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • MBA preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of executive leadership in B2C e-commerce, retail, supply chain, and IT systems.
  • Proven success in multi-location retail expansion and scaling e-commerce operations.
  • Strong IT experience managing enterprise systems, ERP implementations, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic and hands-on leadership with a proven ability to execute large-scale growth initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in retail operations, e-commerce platforms, logistics, and IT infrastructure.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced technology skills with experience in ERP, CRM, and WMS systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, Manhattan Scale preferred).
  • Exceptional communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse departments.
