Position Summary

As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and optimization of Salesforce within our clients' operations. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions that support our strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with best practices, architecture standards, and overall IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions, including custom objects, flows, triggers, and integration patterns such as SOAP/REST web services, APIs, batch processes, connectors, middleware etc.

o  Document the key technical components of the solution and work with the implementation teams to ensure that designs are understood, tested, and implemented correctly

o  Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, security standards, and governance policies.

o  Act as a credible subject matter expert and provide explanation and information to others on difficult technical issues

  • Technical Architecture:
  • Develop and maintain the Salesforce technical architecture, including data models, integrations, and application landscapes.
  • Evaluate and recommend Salesforce technologies and tools to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Identify and address technical challenges and risks, providing proactive solutions.
  • May also suggest OR be involved in pilot projects where a POC (proof of concept) is required to verify feasibility of a proposed technical solution
  • Project Management:
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver Salesforce projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Mentor and develop junior Salesforce team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and achieve project goals.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or a similar role.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce core concepts, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and integrations.
  • Multiple Salesforce project deployments including release and environment management
  • Minimum 5X Salesforce certifications required, Salesforce Technical or Application or System Architect certificate is a must
  • Experience around Salesforce Service Cloud implementation and multi-location Service Cloud rollout is preferred
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the United States as needed.

Additional Considerations

  • Experience with healthcare or medical device industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data migration and integration tools (For instance, Kafka) is beneficial.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
