In this role, you will oversee the full repair process, drive growth, uphold operational standards, and leverage strong financial acumen to ensure overall performance and profitability. Experience in this leadership role in the past is essential.Please submit your resume in English please.Territory: Montreal and surroundingsWorkplace: Montreal (in office)Products/Services: Auto body shopSalary: Base $100,000Commissions/Bonus: $75,000-$100,000 based on EBT, personal and company performanceCar allowance: $500/month + company cardExpense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursedOther Benefits:vision caredental carehealth insuranceLTD & STDEmployee assistance programProfessional developmentCompany-wide events4 weeks' vacation Functions:Coordinate the day-to-day flow of work across the shop, ensuring vehicles move smoothly through each stage of the repair process.Guide the technical team to consistently produce top-quality results and minimize corrective work.Regularly review technician output, identifying strengths and areas that require additional support or coaching.Facilitate organized team huddles and individual check-ins to keep everyone aligned and engaged.Clearly outline performance expectations and keep the team informed of targets and priorities.Build strong relationships with customers and vendors by providing attentive service and proactive communication.Manage the movement and placement of vehicles within the shop and confirm all activity is accurately logged in the tracking system.Monitor key financial metrics and act quickly to resolve operational challenges that could affect overall performance.Manage, coach and mentor staff, under your careEnsure a safe and healthy workplace Requirements:Development vs Maintenance: N/ARoad vs Office: 10% vs 90%Languages: French and English (written and spoken)Education: Post-Secondary education in a related discipline would be considered an assetTraining: On the job training providedOvernight Travel: Up to 10%Years of experience: At least 5 years Autobody Manager, Production Manager or EstimatorOther requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving historyTransferable contacts: N/ATransferable Knowledge: Excellent skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Highly skilled in standard office software (MS Office, SharePoint, etc.)Knowledge of estimation software neededKnowledge of parts price matching programs neededUnderstanding of Provincial Safety code requirements for dealerships
