Position Profile As a Customer Development Manager at General Mills, you will cultivate long‑term partnerships with customers by continuously proposing mutually beneficial solutions and plans. You will develop a keen understanding of product categories and channels and work cross‑functionally with senior General Mills leaders to drive the results necessary for success. This position is located in Montreal and requires office presence on Tuesday and Thursday, with remote work on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Ce poste est à Montréal et exigera de travailler au bureau les mardi et jeudi (télétravail les lundi, mercredi et vendredi). Accountabilities Delivers Volume, RNS, Trade, Profit, Share & Competing Effectively Commitments Develop and execute collaborative customer business plans that deliver RNS & profitability targets. Identifies customer‑specific strategic initiative opportunities, leveraging analytics and financial acumen to operationalize both internally and externally. Achieve listing and distribution targets for all General Mills new products. Plans both Externally & Internally Works closely with Internal and External partners to understand & educate on customer strategies, priorities, tactics, and policies. Aligns analytics, customer strategy and trade strategies to build an annual merchandising plan for their customers/categories. Understands portfolio & brand strategies, how they impact the customer and ultimately the consumer; provides input/feedback on current/future trade strategies. Manages from Sell‑In to Execution Lead event execution from initial opportunity through to final event (participating items, consumer/customer offer, tribute feedback, POS execution, display confirmation, retail feedback). Completes requirements for assigned account(s) i.e. deal sheets, promotional executions, and customer presentation decks. Advocates for their customer to achieve best‑in‑class execution of 4 P’s. Establishes and communicates retail sales team objectives & priorities. Demonstrates unquestionable integrity by: Adhering to all company policies and procedures. Building trust at all levels. Identifie les opportunités d'initiatives stratégiques spécifiques aux clients, en s'appuyant sur l'analyse de données et le sens financier pour les rendre opérationnelles à l’interne et à l’externe. Atteint les objectifs d’introduction et de distribution pour tous les nouveaux produits General Mills. Planification tant à l’interne qu’à l’externe. Collabore étroitement avec les partenaires internes et externes afin de comprendre et de sensibiliser aux stratégies, priorités, tactiques et politiques des clients. Aligner les analyses, la stratégie client et les stratégies commerciales pour élaborer un plan de marchandisage annuel pour leurs clients/catégories. Comprend les stratégies de portefolio et de marque, leur impact sur le client et sur le consommateur, apporte des contributions/retours sur les stratégies commerciales actuelles et futures. Gestion de la vente à l’exécution. Dirige l'exécution des événements, de l'opportunité initiale à l'événement final. Accomplit les exigences pour les comptes assignés, c'est‑à‑dire les feuilles de rabais, les exécutions promotionnelles et les présentations clients. Défend les intérêts de ses clients pour atteindre une exécution de premier ordre des 4 P (Prix, produit, place, promotion). Établit et communique les objectifs et les priorités de l'équipe de vente au détail. Qualifications Bilingual in English and French language skills are required. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business. 3‑5 years Key Account Management experience in Consumer‑Packaged Goods required. Ability to operate independently and with a strong sense of initiative, resilience, and perseverance. Proven leadership skills and a desire to influence and deliver timely results. Qualifications (French) Bilinguisme (anglais et français) est requis. Baccalauréat, de préférence en administration des affaires. 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de comptes dans le secteur des biens de consommation emballés sont requis. Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et avec un fort sens de l’initiative, de la résilience et de la persévérance. Compétences avérées en leadership et le désir d’influencer et de livrer des résultats en temps opportun.
