We're seeking an accomplished and seasoned Team Lead to continue to propel our team forward.


Job Description:


  • Commercial Team Lead is a subject matter expert and is accountable for achieving the required business results through effective process, workflow, and quality management.
  • Candidate must be an outstanding leader, have the ability to coach and mentor, and the patience and understanding that comes along with customer service and building relationships
  • Team Lead will also play a key role in supporting the implementation of major change initiatives.
  • Candidate will work with the management team and employees to develop business strategies and implement and execute these plans by leveraging your team’s talents and skills sets
  • Role will require regular one on one meetings with direct reports and proactively managing succession plans for the team
  • Will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of service meets expected standards
  • Will examine the customer experience and implement tools and programs to enhance said experience.
  • Position includes analyzing and resolving and service and sales issues that may arise and following up on escalated situations as required.



Qualifications:


  • 5 years in commercial insurance
  • 2 years with people management
  • Have a RIBO license in good standing
  • Power Broker is an asset
  • Management experience within an insurance brokerage
  • Track record of influencing and leading a highly engaged team
  • Communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Team player and collaborator
  • A problem-solver who develops optimal solutions that maximize organizational performance
