Description:
Our client is a major North American energy company based in Calgary, Alberta - Canada, that develops and operates natural gas pipelines, storage facilities and power-generation plants, with focus on renewable energy sources.
What you’ll do:
- Complete detailed technical engineering assessments which include the review of pipeline integrity information, evaluation of the pipeline condition, and determination of fitness for service
- Critically review data and multi-variate data analysis
- Collaborate and communicate with business units to understand and address their needs
- Assist in the monitoring for compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements
- Provide technical direction and advice to all aspects of Pipeline Integrity Engineering
- Provide support with data gathering, analysis and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Licensed Engineer or Registered Professional Engineer (APEGA)
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in pipeline integrity, project management, risk and reliability or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Canadian and US pipeline regulations
- Experience in audit, assurance, and regulatory engagements
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment, remain organized and maintain a strong focus and attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Creative, 'out-of-the-box' thinking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong data analysis and presentation skills with demonstrated Project Management skills
