Overview


The Field Marketing Associate will play a pivotal role in strategizing and executing local marketing campaigns for BarBurrito. This position involves attending grand events, community engagement, and collaborating with franchisees to enhance brand loyalty and store performance. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement local store marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  • Represent BarBurrito at grand openings, community events, and local marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate local community events in partnership with franchisees, ensuring effective execution.
  • Assist in event preparation and tear-down, ensuring promotional materials are effectively utilized.
  • Report on local marketing campaign effectiveness and store performance metrics.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage promotions and special offers in the POS system as needed.
  • Support franchise partners with marketing needs and concerns.
  • Assist in social media management and community engagement, responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with third-party aggregators and the marketing team on campaign development.
  • Conduct field visits to stores, ensuring marketing initiatives are successfully executed and gather feedback.


Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business, or related field. Equivalent work experience considered.
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably in food and beverage or retail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, POS systems, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of traditional advertising channels and digital marketing techniques.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or similar platforms.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for various marketing materials.
  • Ability to leverage social media for local marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Confident presentation skills.
  • Intercultural communication skills; fluency in French is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car required.
