We are seeking an Assistant Controller to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our Finance team. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals looking to oversee the whole month-end process and have other responsibilities. The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Controller and various cross-functional teams to execute and lead month-end process and other special project. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Assistant Controller will be responsible for various things.


Key Responsibilities:

  • the month-end process, including reporting for entities of the group, consolidation process, and year-end review and audit processes under ASPE.
  • investigate and implement new processes to improve the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • inventory costing and coordinating with the business to investigate issues.
  • documentation of all processes and procedures are up to date and the appropriate controls are in place for all financial processes under your responsibility.
  • monthly profit-and-loss analytics for management’s use, and reviewing the monthly balance-sheet-binders.
  • the standardization of data.
  • of all statutory and government audits.


Must Haves:

  • Designation
  • years of experience leading and managing a team.
  • using ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • leadership skills and ability to develop strategic business relationships
  • critical thinking skills.
  • oriented and highly organized.
  • interpersonal and communication skills.


Nice to have:

  • with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • of tax regulations and compliance.
  • to prepare and interpret financial statements and reports.
  • to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on findings.
  • skills to address financial discrepancies or inefficiencies.
  • with financial modeling and forecasting.
