Position Overview: Our clients are looking for a highly skilled Site Superintendent to oversee new build construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, managing on-site personnel, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors and on-site personnel.
  • Ensure that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and building codes.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and documentation of any changes or deviations from the original plans.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and any potential delays or concerns.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on new build projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction sites and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site personnel.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
  • OSHA certification and knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
