Adecco presents an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst in Kitimat, BC. We are currently recruiting for a procurement Analyst, working on a contract with our esteemed client, a multinational industry leader.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in Procurement & Supply Chain.


  • Location: Kitimat, BC | must be local to Kitimat area
  • Shifts: Monday to Friday | 8 am – 5 pm | In-Office
  • Job type: Full-Time | Temporary for 3 months with the possibility of permanent hire
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay: $40- $50/hour


Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance in developing and implementing the Procurement Strategy.
  • Ensures that sound supply chain/ procurement processes are followed, project implementation methodologies are deployed and implementation is completed in accordance with the Client's process, documentation and governance.
  • Responsible to complete the daily inventory run to purchase requisitions for re-stock and work order requirements.
  • Responsible to source materials for inventory, maintenance and operations utilizing the RFQ process.
  • Review and process quotes received from suppliers, including price, delivery, Inco terms, material verification.


Qualifications:

  • Must be local to Kitimat and legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
  • Post-secondary education or certification in Supply Chain Management preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement environment.
  • Knowledge of contracts, Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle, and reporting metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail, accurate, and analytical.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Investigative and analytical skills to achieve root cause problem identification and solution.
