Role Description


This is a full-time Project Manager position at FRARE GALLANT, with a focus on the project development and preconstruction phase. The Project Manager will work closely with the Director of Preconstruction projects and will be responsible for various tasks.  These will include assisting in the development of the project's Technical and Functional Program (PFT), obtaining ministerial and municipal approvals for the project, managing the selected design team to create tender and construction documentation, creating the project Risk Analysis Chart, contributing to the development of the project's overall cost, including construction cost, and creating the project schedule for both the development and construction phases. Additionally, the Project Manager will provide guidance and support to the construction project manager during the execution phase. This position is a hybrid role located in Laval, QC, with the option for some remote work.


Qualifications


- Ability to assist and manage the design teams in completing site-specific studies.

- Managing the design teams to develop tender and construction documents.

- Design-Build experience is an advantage.

- Proficiency in developing MS Project schedules.

- Proficiency in project management.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently.

- Knowledge of LEED certification, HACCP, and GFSI standards is an advantage.

- Relevant certifications in project management or a related field are an advantage.

Description du poste

 

Il s'agit d'un poste de gérant de projet à temps plein au sein de FRARE GALLANT, axé sur le développement de projets et la phase de pré-construction. Le gérant de projet travaillera en étroite collaboration avec le directeur des projets de pré-construction et sera responsable de diverses tâches. Il devra notamment participer à l'élaboration du programme fonctionnel et technique (PFT) du projet, obtenir les autorisations ministérielles et municipales du projet, gérer l'équipe désigne sélectionnée pour compléter les documents d'appel d'offres et de construction, préparer le tableau d'analyse des risques du projet, contribuer à l'élaboration du coût global du projet, préparer l'échéancier du projet pour les phases de développement et de construction. Le gérant de projet fournira aussi des conseils et un soutien au gestionnaire du projet de construction pendant la phase d'exécution. 

Il s'agit d'un poste hybride situé à Laval, au Québec, avec la possibilité de travailler à distance.

 

 

Qualifications

 

- Capacité à assister et à gérer les équipes de conception dans la réalisation d'études spécifiques au site.

- Gérer les équipes de conception pour élaborer les documents d'appel d'offres et de construction.

- L'expérience en gestion des projets de type conception-construction est un avantage.

- Compétence pour le développement d'échéancier MS Project.

- Maîtrise de la gestion de projet.

- Excellentes compétences d'organisation et de gestion du temps.

- Compétences de résolution de problèmes et de prise de décision.

- Habileté à travailler de manière indépendante.

- La connaissance de la certification LEED, de l'HACCP et des normes GFSI est un atout.

- Des certifications pertinentes en gestion de projet ou dans un domaine connexe sont un atout.
