Main tasks of the Cost Control Procurement Analyst :


  • Ensure lifecycle management of equipment by keeping the ticketing system up to date
  • Ensure the management of mobile equipment, manage the inventory according to user requests, update lines and grant travel packages
  • Lead negotiations and renewals with telecom service providers (wireless, wireline, conferencing, and all other telecom related services)
  • Follow-up with employees and managers on data usage overruns, both local and roaming
  • Assist management from time to time with cost analyses and, if necessary, with the development of business models for new telecommunications services within the company
  • Generate reports to monitor telecom service costs and trends on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Maintain inventory management parameters in the system to ensure sufficient stock for operations and IT projects
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and place orders in the system
  • Follow up daily with suppliers on overdue orders and escalate any impact on operations
  • Ensure the order reception and inventory management process so that the computer systems reflect the physical inventory
  • Validate supplier invoicing against service contracts to optimize costs
  • All other related tasks


Requirements for the Cost Control Procurement Analyst position:


  • Bachelor's degree in procurement, administration, finance or other relevant experience
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of the mobile equipment environment (cell phones)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite ,particularly Excel (advanced intermediate level)
  • Excellent planning, organization and priority management skills
  • Ability to work rigorously in a fast-paced environment
  • Recognized ability to coordinate, execute and organize work with autonomy and good judgment
  • Written and spoken bilingualism (French and English)
  • Knowledge of ERP, ServiceNow and SAP (strong asset)
