WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 

As QA Analyst, you will work in an agile scrum environment, leading the effort to define the test requirements, processes and tools to ensure our software is of the highest quality.  Over time, you will also get the chance to contribute to the development team with introductory software development. 

  • Sprint cycle testing of all changes to the code base to ensure our product enhancements and bug fixes are reliable and fully functional before they are released to customers 
  • Evaluate the quality of products and processes to ensure they meet requirements, are aligned with business goals, and comply with regulations 
  • Design and implement automated testing solutions and perform manual tests where applicable 
  • Create and execute software test plans, analyze results and recommend corrective actions guidelines 
  • Ensure documentation is thorough and complete of test outcomes, compliance and quality control and communicate to stakeholders 
  • Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to improve processes, manage problem logs and resolve identified issues 
  • Actively participate in scrum meetings to provide constructive feedback and to continuously improve the development and testing process 
  • Over time, contribute to sprints and scrum team with introductory software development, typical of a junior engineer 
  • Additional duties or projects as assigned from time to time 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • A bachelor’s degree 
  • At least 3 years working as a QA Automation Engineer or QA Analyst 
  • Proven knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes 
  • Experience working with multiple programming languages, such as Java, Javascript, Python,Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, Python, Django, Tornado, Celery, Swagger, Linux (Ubuntu), Windows, MFC, ATL, C++, C# 
  • Excellent communication skills and committed to questioning the status quo 
  • Strong detail orientation and ability to multitask 
  • Experience working in fast-paced and rapidly changing start-up environment 
  • Great attitude and eagerness to learn 
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken; French is an asset
