Recruitment By Design is hiring We are a full-service, boutique staffing agency specializing in the Architecture, Design & Engineering industries across Canada. We are currently seeking a Junior Recruitment Specialist to join our growing team in the Greater Toronto Area. In this role you will work alongside an Account Manager to fill job orders from clients. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication and organization skills, who is passionate about people and looking to forge a career in talent acquisition.


Responsibilities:


– Review resumes received from job ads and qualify in accordance with position; actively pursue relevant candidates using search engines and direct-messaging capabilities


– Screen, qualify and refer candidates, including preparing formal submissions


– Perform other duties as required


Requirements:


– Human Resources related field of study or Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent as a minimum; 0-3 years’ industry experience required


-Experience using hiring platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn Recruiter to source hard-to-find talent and build candidate pipelines; familiarity with CRM such as Manatal or Bullhorn considered an asset


– Experience conducting behavioural interviews, pre-qualifying and screening active and passive candidates


– Experience negotiating contracts and employment offers


– Highly self-motivated and organized; capable of meeting tight deadlines and working under pressure


– Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent email and phone etiquette


– Knowledge of and/or passion for the architecture/engineering industry
