We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic and well-organized full-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. As an SDR, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by engaging with inbound leads and executing outreach campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to jumpstart their career in sales within the rapidly evolving cybersecurity industry. Applicants must be based in Canada. Proximity to our head office in Vancouver is preferred, but not mandatory.


What you’ll be doing:


  • Book meetings with cyber security professionals who want to learn more about D3 Security’s SOAR platform
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads from our website, social media, and trade shows via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualify leads to assess their fit for D3 Security's SOAR platform.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand prospects' needs and pain points.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop, execute and perfect targeted campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions in the CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly targets for lead generation and qualification.
  • Learn a lot about the cyber security industry


What we’re looking for:


  • Hunger to learn and succeed. Previous SDR experience is less important than having the right mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You’re comfortable making a lot of phone calls and talking to leads on the phone every day.
  • High level of organization. You can keep track of your short and long-term goals and move them forward.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. You work proactively instead of always waiting for instructions.
  • An understanding of cybersecurity, technology, SaaS, and B2B software is a bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, marketing, or related field is preferred, but not required.
