We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Maintenance Technician.This role plays a key part in supporting plant reliability, ensuring equipment uptime, and contributing to a safe, efficient operation. You’ll work closely with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Performing equipment repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance to support production requirementsTroubleshooting mechanical issues and identifying long-term corrective actionsCollaborating with Operations to meet daily output targets while maintaining safety and quality standardsSupporting training initiatives for peers and junior technicians as requiredParticipating in departmental meetings, safety programs, and continuous improvement activitiesMaintaining accurate documentation, maintenance logs, and communication with supervisorsAssisting with maintenance leadership duties during absences or as assignedMandatory Requirements:Completion of a skilled trade program or equivalent combination of apprenticeship and hands-on industrial maintenance experienceIndustrial Millwright or Industrial Electrician Certification (433A/442A/309A)Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting capability in a manufacturing environmentExperience with preventative maintenance programsEffective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionallyStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesPreferred Requirements:Background in food, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with reliability practices, continuous improvement, or maintenance planningHourly Rate: $44/hr – $46/hrIf you are interested in learning more about the Maintenance Technician job opportunity, please submit your updated resume to evan@itecgroup.caWe are recruitment industry leaders committed to quality service, integrity, respect and equal opportunity.
