Leasing Consultant

Our Leasing Consultants work together with our management team members and are responsible for Leasing our available Suites to prospects looking for a place to call home.

Duties included in this role include the following:

Leasing:

  • Respond to all leasing inquiries through email, telephone calls and walk in traffic
  • Conduct community tours
  • Manage and executed all related paperwork, reference calls, and follow up as required
  • Coordinates with our site teams to ensure a seamless move in experience for our residents
  • Coordinates with our management and site team members to complete turnover and move in suite inspections
  • Conduct local community market surveys quarterly
  • Review all marketing programs for accuracy
  • Prepare leasing reporting as required

Administration:

  • To collect all rents due in the minimum time possible
  • To complete all forms and reports so that the correct master files, correct rent rolls and any other data which should be required for the proper functioning of the company are developed and maintained
  • To purchase services and supplies only in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports concerning departmental activities as required by the Property Manager
  • To be cognizant of all governing legislation including, without limitation, Residential Tenancies Act, Labour Relations Act, Fire Code and Occupational Health & Safety Act


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2 years in a customer service, sales-related role
  • Professional and service-oriented approach to daily duties
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Strong sales and closing related skills
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
  • Desire to work with people and the ability to remain customer focused in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Adaptable, organized and flexible - the ability to handle different problems as they occur
  • Ability to work evenings and Saturdays as required
