IT Project Coordinator - Transformation

Location - Greater Toronto Area

6 month extendable contracts

Hybrid - 2 days per week in office


Responsibilities:

- Coordinate projects and programs within the IT Transformation portfolio, including administrative duties.

- Assist Transformation Managers with schedule building, resource coordination, budget management, and stakeholder meeting coordination.

- Support project scope and prioritization, maintain visibility into the future project pipeline.

- Validate hiring requests in line with project prioritization and delivery requirements.

- Facilitate forecasting of resource capacity versus demand, analyze and balance resource allocation to meet portfolio and delivery expectations.

- Administer resource capacity and allocation for portfolio/project intake processes.

- Manage the intake process and administration in JIRA in collaboration with the Transformation lead.

- Develop cross-functional resource plans for projects and BAU (Business As Usual) initiatives.

- Identify and resolve resource-related execution risks on programs.

- Provide ongoing resource management reports to Transformation Managers.

- Maintain an active list of resource intake and manage regular review of demand and fulfillment with stakeholders.

- Consolidate reports from delivery centers and assist with financial/tempo reporting and insights.


Requirements:

- 4+ years of project support/coordination experience in an IT environment.

- Experience supporting transformation projects and managing project financials, including cost models and invoice reconciliation.

- Proficiency in governance, ensuring completion and accuracy of project artifacts.

- Skilled in data retrieval and reorganization for easy comprehension and meaningful insights synthesis.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and familiarity with human resource management systems and project management software.

- Experience with JIRA is preferred.

- Experience in the financial services industry is an asset.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to multitask across multiple projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
