Our Engineering Recruiter is accountable for:



  • Sourcing & recruiting qualified Engineering talent (Mid to Senior level)
  • In Canada: (Piping & Electrical Designers, Mechanical Engineers, Procurement Roles)
  • In the USA (Project Engineers, Designers, Lab Tech & Admin roles)
  • Being able to manage 8-15 requisitions at one time
  • 8-12+ requisitions in Canada
  • To work on as needed requisitions in the USA
  • Being able to communicate with hiring managers to find the best solution for their needs (in person launch call)
  • Meet & greet the candidates at the gate, escort them to the manager’s office & sometimes sit in on the interviews
  • Growing revenue & profitability for your portfolio of business
  • Creating, managing candidate pipelines, and assessing candidate qualifications
  • Reviewing & prioritizing candidate activity including pre-screens and interviews
  • Negotiating and closing candidates with offers and confirming their starts
  • Actively networking (career fairs etc.) within the local Engineering market

Qualifications:

  • Requires a minimum of 3+ years’ experience within Staffing/Corporate Recruiting (ideally Engineering recruiting & sourcing talent (but not mandatory))
  • Recruiting contract & direct hire candidates is strongly preferred
  • Experience in recruiting processes (can show proven success in the recruiting process: sourcing, qualification, placement process, and closing temporary/contract & fulltime candidates
  • Having a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Bullhorn, LinkedIn, Indeed all nice to haves
  • Driven to succeed - solutions oriented
  • Teammate who embodies the Kelly team first
  • Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills
