Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Senior Java Developer for a long term opportunity at Toronto, ON (Hybrid Position).

Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.


Position: Senior Java Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid Role –3 Days in Office/week)

Duration: Long Term Open Ended Contract

Must have:

  • Strong development background with experience on Java 8 (Java 17 will be an added touch)
  • Regex or Perl Scripting experience
  • SQL (Sybase or Snowflake will also be considered)
  • Big Data/Spark


Nice to have:

  • Modern technologies - cloud/kubernetes, GenAI/LLM etc.
