AEP (Adobe Experience Platform) Developer – RT-CDP & AJO12-Month Contract | Remote (EST Hours) | Possible Full-Time ConversionWork EnvironmentRemote (EST hours) during contract2 days onsite weekly if converted to full-timeFast-paced, collaborative team focused on digital transformation and real-time personalizationOverviewSeeking a high-impact AEP Developer with deep expertise in Real-Time CDP (RT-CDP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) to design and optimize scalable customer experience solutions. This role enables real-time personalization, omni-channel engagement, and data-driven marketing across the enterprise.Key ResponsibilitiesAdobe Experience Platform (AEP) / Real-Time CDPTranslate business and marketing objectives into scalable AEP architecturesBuild and configure AEP data models, schemas, identities, classes, and field groupsSet up and monitor data ingestion pipelines, ensuring data quality and governanceDevelop real-time segmentation and audience activation strategiesImplement data quality rules, validate ingestion flows, and troubleshoot ingestion issuesUse AEP APIs / SDKs for real-time streaming across platforms and connectorsEnsure compliance with data classification, retention, privacy, and regulatory requirementsAdobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)Build end-to-end customer journeys including triggers, events, orchestrations, and automationsDevelop omni-channel messaging (email, SMS, mobile push) aligned with brand standardsConfigure Channel Surfaces, Subdomains, IP Pools, and warming strategiesImplement Decisioning and Offers with eligibility rules, placements, and ranking logicTroubleshoot and resolve system errors, integration issues, and synchronization challengesOffer DecisioningBuild and optimize personalized offer placements driven by customer contextCreate and refine decision tables, rules, and ranking logicCross-Functional CollaborationWork with developers, engineers, project managers, and marketing teams to support deliveryServe as a subject matter expert; mentor junior AEP/AJO resourcesSupport full SDLC including discovery, design, testing, and deploymentContinuous ImprovementRecommend enhancements to performance, scalability, and governanceMaintain documentation, frameworks, and best practicesMust-Have QualificationsHands-on Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) development experienceDeep AEP / RT-CDP expertise including schemas, ingestion pipelines, segmentation, and activationExperience building omni-channel journeys in AJO (triggers, events, journeys, decisioning)Experience troubleshooting ingestion, mapping, and data synchronization issuesStrong stakeholder communication skills, especially with marketing teamsNice-to-HaveExperience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)Adobe certifications (AJO, AEP, RT-CDP, AEM)Background in enterprise digital marketing environmentsMentoring and knowledge-sharing experience
