Your ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships, interpret regulations specific to Western Canada, and strategically plan construction activities will be critical to the project’s continued success.


Key Duties:

  • Lead and manage the execution of a large-scale capital project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Interface effectively with executives, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, representing the company with professionalism and expertise.
  • Develop and implement strategic construction plans, considering project scope, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Forecast and plan construction costs accurately, monitoring expenditures throughout project lifecycles.
  • Ensure compliance with local and provincial regulations in Western Canada, maintaining a proactive approach to regulatory changes.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence across project teams, driving continuous improvement initiatives.



Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in senior leadership roles within industrial construction, with a focus on large capital projects in refinery or petro-chemical environments.
  • Strong understanding of regulations and permitting processes specific to Western Canada.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with executives, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in financial planning and forecasting related to construction projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
