Job Overview: On our client's behalf, we're looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to lead and oversee renovation and new build projects within the ICI sector. As a critical player in the general contracting boutique, you will manage all project phases, ensuring exceptional quality and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the ICI construction field and a proven ability to handle complex projects with precision and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution. Ensure projects align with the boutique’s high standards and client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and in-house staff. You can foster effective communication and teamwork to achieve project goals.
  • Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison with clients, addressing their needs and concerns. Provide regular project updates and ensure their vision is realized throughout the project.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and building regulations on-site. Conduct regular safety inspections and address potential risks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met. Prepare financial reports and forecasts as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure work meets or exceeds industry standards and client specifications.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges during the project. Develop and execute effective solutions to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.



Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., PMP, CCM) is advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on ICI renovation and new build projects. Experience working in a boutique general contracting environment is preferred.
