Agropur Dairy Cooperative has begun its business process transformation supported by the SAP S4 HANA system and is completing its deployment of Canadian site.

Reporting to the Finance Business Transformation Lead, the business partner will mainly support the organization by successfully leading its sites in the inventory switchover to the new platform on an agreed date. This position requires to be open to travel on a regular basis to Canadian plants that he/she will be responsible for.

What’s involved in this role:

Plan the different steps leading to the inventory switchover on an agreed date (Go-Live)

Preparation steps (meetings with factories/warehouses, learning the inventory jargon for the various stakeholders)
Practice steps (implementing inventory practices to identify the strengths and weaknesses of factories/warehouses and implementing corrective measures if necessary)
Execution steps (actively participating in the inventory switchover)
Maintenance steps (answering questions after the switchover and identifying gaps to refine future deployments)



Participate in discussions to ensure that sufficient and available resources are in place for the various planning stages.



Hold weekly meetings between the different teams and act as a facilitator when necessary.

Bridge the gap between more operational teams and the master data technical team to ensure everyone has a good understanding of the requirements necessary for the smooth running of the deployment.





Conduct risk and threat analysis and propose a mitigation plan to increase the chances of success.

Risk and threat analysis is carried out for sites belonging to Agropur and for third-party warehouses.





Recommend effective audit strategies to find a balance between the efforts to be deployed and the confidence in the results obtained.



Identify at-risk stocks and implement more detailed analytical procedures for this category of products.



Ensure that the ERP systems in place are up to date, well maintained, and usable during the counting procedures.



Propose, teach, and maintain functional tools for the smooth running of counting activities (count files, master file, and reconciliation file) and other tools to facilitate the various activities.



Interact with various strategic stakeholders of a site deployment and act as a leader by proposing solutions and improvements, being proactive when complex situations arise.



Reconcile accounts and give final approval that an inventory counting process is complete.



Participate in the various User Acceptance Tests (UAT)



Propose cyclical counting methods and ensure their proper application.



Propose a rigorous cyclical counting schedule for the first 4-5 weeks after deployment, as well as a schedule that will be maintained over time



What you need to join our team:

Bachelor’s degree in finance preferred



Relevant experience in similar activities required



Strong knowledge of operations at a high volatility plant



Ability to guide and lead change​



Ability to read, understand, and follow documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, MSDS, GMP, test procedures, HACCP, etc.).



Bilingual (Fr/En) is an asset
