RESPONSABILITÉS:


  • Définir et implanter des stratégies d’approvisionnement efficaces sur les initiatives de réduction des coûts ;
  • Assurer un rôle de négociateur auprès des fournisseurs ;
  • Établir la croissance ainsi que maintenir la relation stratégique avec les fournisseurs ;
  • Analyser/challenger les soumissions reçues ;
  • Rechercher, analyser et qualifier de nouvelles sources d’approvisionnement ;
  • Suivre et valider l’évolution et l’exécution des ententes/contrats de service ;
  • Sélectionner et traiter les demandes d’achat ;
  • Faire la gestion et le suivi de ses bons de commandes ;
  • Prioriser et supporter les requêtes des opérations ;
  • Soutenir, suivre les projets d’innovation locaux/ corporatifs ;
  • Coordonner les essais en production ;
  • Soutenir la clientèle interne dans l’atteinte des objectifs ;
  • Mettre à jour, maintenir la documentation : Achats – ISO ;
  • Remplacer au besoin ses collègues acheteurs ;
  • Participer à l’évaluation annuelle des fournisseurs ;
  • Participer à l’amélioration continue des procédures ;
  • Assister aux réunions départementales, offrir un soutien lors des présentations mensuelles;
  • Implication dans l’élaboration des budgets corporatifs ;
  • Suivi des non-conformités avec les équipes internes et le fournisseur; suivi mensuel du budget ;

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXPÉRIENCE REQUISES:


  • Baccalauréat en approvisionnement ou en administration ;
  • Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience comme acheteur dans l’industrie manufacturière ;
  • Très bonne connaissance des techniques d’approvisionnement (processus & procédures) et MRP;
  • Connaissance du marché des produits d’emballage un atout ;
  • Maîtrise des outils MS Office, Outlook, Maximo, Navision ;
  • Connaissance et respect des normes ISO, HACPP; FSSC22000 Bonne gestion des priorités et sens de l’organisation ;
  • Esprit analytique, rigueur ;

Lantic is currently recruiting for the temporary position (16 months) of Senior Corporate Buyer at our Montreal head office. The position reports to the Corporate Director of Procurement. The senior corporate buyer is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services necessary to maintain operations and the daily needs of production at the Montreal refinery. Establishes agreements/contracts signed with our strategic business partners. In addition, the senior buyer plays a corporate role in projects, process standardization and cost reduction initiatives. All in compliance with Lantic policies, procedures and regulations.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Define and implement effective procurement strategies on cost reduction initiatives;
  • Assume the role of negotiator with suppliers;
  • Establish growth as well as maintain strategic relationships with suppliers;
  • Analyze/challenge the submissions received;
  • Research, analyze and qualify new sources for procurement;
  • Monitor and validate the evolution and execution of service agreements/contracts; Select and process purchase requests;
  • Manage and monitor purchase orders;
  • Prioritize and support operations requests;
  • Support and monitor local/corporate innovation projects;
  • Coordinate production tests;
  • Support internal customers in achieving their objectives;
  • Update and maintain documentation: Purchasing – ISO;
  • Replace fellow buyers if necessary;
  • Participate in the annual evaluation of suppliers;
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of procedures;
  • Attend departmental meetings, provide support during monthly presentations;
  • Be involved in the development of corporate budgets;
  • Monitor non-conformities with internal teams and the supplier; monthly budget monitoring;
  • All other related tasks.


QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Bachelor's degree in procurement or administration;
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a buyer in the manufacturing industry;
  • Very good knowledge of procurement techniques (processes & procedures) and MRP;
  • Knowledge of the packaging products market an asset;
  • Mastery of MS Office, Outlook, Maximo, Navision tools;
  • Knowledge and compliance with ISO, HACPP standards; FSSC22000
  • Good management of priorities and sense of organization;
  • Analytical mind, rigor;
  • Autonomy and sense of responsibility;
  • Great skills in negotiation and communication;
  • Bilingual English/French spoken and written in order to be able to communicate with our English and French speaking sites;
  • Focused on results and teamwork;
