Location: Remote  


Time: Full-time or part-time 


Description: QuantumSmart is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Delivery Lead to join their family. This role is pivotal in guiding QuantumSmart clients through their technical journeys, addressing skill gaps, and providing strategic and technical guidance to help them transition from their current state to their desired target state.  


The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, growth mindset and strong experience background in IT operations, security systems, compliance standards, while understanding the holistic view of the technology landscape with some hands-on experience. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Client Engagement: 
  • Lead as the primary technical liaison, guiding clients through their technical journeys. 
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance to clients, explaining the importance of changes and their impact. 
  • Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions. 

 

  • Technical Leadership: 
  • Develop and implement technology and security roadmaps. 
  • Ensure clients are informed and aware of their current technical state and the steps required to reach their target state. 
  • Maintain a holistic view of systems and technology, ensuring comprehensive solutions are provided. 

 

  • Security and Compliance: 
  • Maintain a strong awareness of security systems and compliance standards such as SOC2 Type 2, ISO27001 
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to relevant security and compliance requirements. 

 

  • Communication and Presentation: 
  • Present complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, suitable for a business audience. 
  • Deliver professional and engaging presentations to clients and stakeholders. 

 

  • Collaboration and Leadership: 
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. 
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 

 

  • Pre-Sales and Business Development: 
  • If needed participate in pre-sales discussions to understand client needs and provide technical expertise. 
  • Identify potential business opportunities and work with the sales representative to solidify them. 


Qualifications: 


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client-facing technical delivery role. 
  • Strong understanding of AWS, M365, Azure, Google Workspace, and GCP. 
  • Extensive experience in IT operations and regulated environments (financial sector experience is beneficial). 
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technology concepts into business language. 
  • Excellent leadership, self-organization, and initiative-taking skills. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, fluent in English (both speaking and writing). 
  • Proven experience in managing both small and large-scale projects. 
  • Understanding of CMMI or similar maturity frameworks 
  • Ability to articulate a concise vision in a digital presentation format 


Preferred Skills: 


  • Previous hands-on experience with technology and security systems. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies and services. 
  • Experience dealing with customer-facing challenges and resolving issues effectively. 
  • Previous experience working with OSFI technology requirements 
  • Understanding of GDPR, PCI and how it is applicable to businesses technology 


Work Environment: 


  • This role requires a professional and presentable demeanor, capable of engaging with clients at various levels. 
  • Ability to travel as needed for client engagements and presentations.
