Job Description:

Seeking a seasoned .NET Technical Lead specializing in application development and modernization within cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in .NET development, coupled with leadership experience. This role involves leading a team of developers and architects to modernize and migrate legacy applications to cloud-native solutions, ensuring high-quality, scalability, and security.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead a team of developers and solution architects, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Project technical lead, overseeing and leading the design, development, and deployment of applications and microservices.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support professional development.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including business onwers, Business analyst, product management, QA, and operations.
  • Refine project backlogs and sprint planning


Solution Design and Strategy:

  • Define and develop the overall technical architecture and strategy for application modernization and development projects.
  • Conduct architectural assessments of existing legacy systems and identify modernization opportunities.
  • Create comprehensive solution architectures including database modeling, migration, system integrations, data flows, and application interfaces.
  • Ensure alignment of solutions with business goals, technical standards and security & industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement modernization plans, including re-architecting, re-platforming, and refactoring applications.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and technologies based on project and customer’s business requirements.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications and API documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Web technologies, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC frameworks. VsCode and Visual Studio.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns. Knowledge of data structures and web technologies design patterns.
  • Extensive experience with microservices architecture and 12-factor principles.
  • Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL database systems (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostGreSQL) databases.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh).
  • Experience of modernization of legacy monolithic apps to microservices and depoy on cloud.
  • Expertise with one of the following cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Along with hybrid-cloud and Service Mesh.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Knowledge of creating SOAP/REST API web services and integration with front-end microservices and back-end systems.
  • VM to cloud migration infrastructure and applications.
  • Data migration from on-prem to cloud.
  • Experience in building, deploying, and managing applications in cloud environment
  • Application modernization principles like DDD, Strangler, BORIS, SNAP-E, Swift, 12-factor principles.
  • Familiarity with building tools like MSBuild and Dotnet CLI.
  • Experience with contributing to technical pre-sales efforts.
  • Leadership experience, leading application modernization initiatives and technical delivery teams.


Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps tools and best practices.
  • DBs- Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Redis, Cassandra and other modern databases.
  • Certifications in .NET development or cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML, Gen AI, LLM.
