Job Title: Civil Estimator (Earthworks, Excavation, Grading, and Site Work)

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)


Our client, a reputable construction company, is seeking a skilled Civil Project Estimator with a focus on earthworks, excavation, grading, and site work to join their dynamic team. This is a confidential search, and the company name will be disclosed prior to the interview process.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for earthworks, excavation, grading, and site work projects
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure complete coverage of the project
  • Collaborate with project management teams to understand project specifications and requirements
  • Maintain current knowledge of market trends and costs in civil construction


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a civil construction estimator, particularly in earthworks, excavation, grading, and site work
  • Strong understanding of civil construction processes and methods
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in relevant software for estimating civil projects
